Got out about 9:30 today and made a windy run up river from CFP to a slough I know holds a bunch of fish this time of year and I was right on for sure,boated 27 L/M bass and the wind got so bad it was getting crazy in the channel so I came in at 2:30. Water temp was 68-69deg and all fish were caught on a chrome and black R/T, S/B 1/2oz blue with red in it and even flipped one bass out of a tree on a 10" worm in okie craw color,most of the fish were around 2# and males were really tearing the trap up today my first 5 casts I had four bass on and the females I caught were spawned out,havent been on the water in 24 days and my only off day 3-4ft swells in the main channel,but at least I got out and enjoyed the short day on the water. emoToast
