Hit Palies Res. 4/30/2010 and May day. I was able to limit out by trolling Rapalas both days. I managed one cut throat each day but otherwise all browns. The average fish was 15 to 16 inch but had one brown go 20" and 3.5 pounds.

That is a nice catch. What was the weather like there? We have had nothing but wind here.

Is the ice gone, or just in spots? Where did you launch? I'm repacing a stolen motor, and need a place to test it out, closest to Victor.

I fished Palies today 5/2. We did o.k., landed 8 browns and cutts. Most were caught on crankbaits off planer boards. The water is cold 36 to 38. We fished in several areas in the nothern end. Fish are all over the water, from surface to 60 feet. And yes, it was windy and cold...and I'm getting tired of it. !!
