Bass Tourney Help!
#1
Mary and I are also interested in fishing some open Bass tournaments. I saw the one on this thread that was for Glendale yesterday. Fish and Game did not have it listed. In fact, they have nothing listed for East Idaho and only one a Massacre Rocks! Any idea of how I can find more of the tournament schedules for ID and UT?

This is a good group of people I reccomend trying your luck with these guys.

I will be at many of these tournaments myself.

Good Luck

The Glendale Tournament was cancelled due to weather, however we have re-scheduled an open team type tournament of Twin Lakes. It will be on Sunday June 6th.

I was wondering if it went on as planned. That would have been some really tough fishing. I hope it shapes up soon, I need some bass in my life.

I hope everyone coming from Utah has there noxious weed boat stickers. I wonder if F&G is informing the tournament folks to remind them to get the stickers before a tourney is permitted. I would think that many Utahns wouldnt come up if they were reminded to get the sticker as is required.

The F& G has already said they would be there in the morning to check for stickers.

Stickers don't stop invasive species from coming to Idaho on boats. Inspections would but . . .

Continue with your but. I would hope that if F&G is going to be there to check for stickers they are going to enforce it and check boats for it too.

The boat inspection stations have expanded, and are opening right now. THey just opened 3 of them in South West Idaho, and more to come.

How about a very easy fix to this problem. No lake inspections at all. Simply require all boats to stop at state border inspection stations. We have so few points of entry you could do it with less than 10 check points on major highways statewide. It would be tough to spend all the money the stickers are taking in! [Image: bobwink.gif]

Can you tell I do this for a living? [Image: happy.gif] [Image: surprised.gif] [Image: whistle.gif]
