Got to Soddy this A.M. thinking it was going to be too windy & stormy, but when I met up with my buddy J., he had such a positive attitude about it, I was convinced we should go ahead. Glad we did. Rain stopped, wind wasn't so bad, & the fish were biting. Caught better than 20 between us in about 6hrs, mostly on spinner baits, probably a dozen of them keepers, & I was fortunate enough to land one that went 6 or so; had scales in the boat but couldn't find them quick enough. Glad we got her back in the water when we did; she didn't take off right away & after working with her for a couple of minutes, she swam off OK. Fished mostly 4-10 ft deep. Water pretty murky. J. eye-balled a keeper in some clearer water under a laydown & caught it on a lizard. Yowza!
