Nice fish osprey! I'm with chrome junky if they dont open the upper salmon I probably wont be able to harass any chinooks this year. The fish and game have proposed an opening of the upper salmon but they wont decide on it until their meeting on the 20th ( I think) in Lewiston. Cross your fingers! The numbers look good for it though!

Well, I just got home and have a Big Smile on my face!
I'll let the pic's tell the rest of the story! And the river was plenty High at both Orofino and Kooski for outboards and Inboards! I'm heading back over Lolo Pass next weekend!
One more thing! I've fished at the End of the Locsaw a bunch over the years, the water was clear enough today, to see under the bridge with my P~roids and low and behold there was a pair of Nooks right were there usually is! The F&G guy said the Fish trap will go into Op on tuesday, Fishing starts sunday?
Heehee , the wife even proved to us that the steelies are still running!

Just got back from lewiston and we ended up getting one fish in the boat and that was all the action we had. we saw two other boats hook up and at 5pm the fish counter had only tallied 8 fish for the day. Saw quite a few boats out just not much going on. Had a good time though.

9677 chinook passes over lower Granite today and the water level is up about 4 ft. from last weekend.
Aught to be a heck of a good weekend to catch a springer?
