Long time Lurker here on the boards but this is my first report. First off great site and I love reading all the reports. We hit Soddy Creek at 7am and fished till 4pm. We started off going after the topwater bite with no sucess.

I soon switched to Green Lizards back in the creek and we caught about 10 or so LM in 5ft of water or less. Only 1 keeper up to this point. About 11am we took an hour lunch break and got sandwitched at the Shady Grove Marina (Good sandwitches and nice people).

It was starting to get hot so we decided to hit the main lake areas and began fishing humps in 12-20 FOW. We found them stacked up on one hump and hit the mother load using swim baits. Lost count of keepers. It was the best day I have had in a long time. Lost 2 fish right at the boat that would have gone around 4-5 easy . Boated plenty in the 3 pd range. All were released in good shape to fight another day.

Went home and the wife had a Pizza waiting on me. Gonna try to get out there again on Sunday.
