Hit the Henry's Fork yesterday. Started out on the Chester to Fun Farm stretch. Water was definitely muddy. We only caught 2. One of them was almost big enough to be bait. The other was a decent brown. After that we headed up to fish warm river to Ashton. Took a little work but we finally got into a few fish. There was almost no surface action but we landed an 18" brown on an ugly bug (random materials tied to look something like a salmon fly). Most if no all the others were on nymphs. We did see salmon fly's on the overhanging rocks at times but only 1 in the water. Weather was very nice for us though!

i fished it yesterday around funfarm and i had a pretty good day i landed 2 fish a nice 3 lb bow and the biggest trout i have ever landed on my fly rod. it was a brown that was 6-7 lbs big old hook jaw and hump back this fish was about 20 inches long and fat i couldnt even get both my hands around it. we got pictures im just waiting for fishdkd to email it to me. fishdkd hooked 4 huge rainbows but lost all 4 of them. we then went up to vernon and i hooked into a rainbow that was right around 5 lbs it jumped about 5 times in a row and then on the fifth jump my 4x tippet for my dropper broke. i also landed what i think is the the new state record for mountain whitefish i kept it and i am taking to a scale today. i will post some pics of the brown later today
oh and there were stone flys every where i mean every where the fish just havnt keyed in on them yet. they were in the water on the banks in the rocks in the grass all over the bridge!

SWEET! I can't wait to see that Brown. It must look like a football.
20" long it would need like a 17" girth.

it was a 6 wt but it still put up a doosy of a fight.
