I called David last minute and he was ready to fish. We hit the water around 11am and got off a little after 4pm. We had a great time looking for bass, and did some catching too. We started fishing the creek. Not takers over a deep hole so went shallower and caught a few on a 7 ft deep flat. Tried a couple of other flats in the 10-12 ft range with no bites. Fished a deep drop and caught one 14 incher. We then fished another flat closer to the bridge with no hits there. Went to Harrison bay and caught a few on a 12 ft deep flat with stumps and to our surprise milfoil. The other spots that we hit had active fish and we caught them on crankbaits but these fish wanted carolina rigged worms. Went back to the flat where we caught them in the creek and caught one more before calling it quits. The water temp was 79 to 80 degrees in the creek and Harrison bay. We ended up with about 10 or 11 bass in the 14-17 inch range. All healthy looking fish. Lots of bait flitting around. Most of the fish that I've been catching recently seem to be relating to 10-12 foot depths with cover. Thanks again David for fishing with me. It was fun to hook up with you again. Here's a pic of the ones that we still had in the livewell at the end of the day.
