The plan was to hit several holes this evening, but with a starter problem on the boat, emoBang emoBang we had to change some plans. We have a couple holes that we can drive to, and just walk through the yard (after asking permission) and thats what we did.
Very first hole, we knew it had a good fish, this one always does. Me and Heath went down, I ran intothe hole and got hit right away and was struggling pretty good to get he upper hand on the big boy, when I realized Heath was grabbing ahold of him too and we were both pulling like crazy now to get this fish out. Catfinger was on top of the dock shooting video. Out it came finally, and it all happened on my first dive. 38lb blue cat!
Here is a video for you!
http://i706.photobucket.com/albums/ww68/....jpg
Next I hear a holler and Heath gets ahold of a 15lb flathead, and we had to dig that fish out from under a dock, and under a large rock. Just a baby fish for the seasoned pro.
Then we start working on a fish for Catfinger. We let a couple small channel cats get away from us, but thought the next hole would be better.
We found a big fish in a very deep hole there, but could just not get him to cooperate that well. Heath check another spot on the ramp we were on and said he felt one. Catfinger and I started working it a little, and I was dumb and didnt have any golves on and got the fish to bite but was pretty much pinned on the side of the hole opening with ths fish chomping on my bare hands. Storm got ahold of it and helped me get the upper hand on it, and yank it out! It was a 21lb flattie!

So all-in-all it was a good day,
