We hit the water after work this am to do a little scouting for the tourney this weekend. Got to the spot about 0700, Chris makes his first cast and boom 17in keeper. While he is taking care of his, my first cast...boom 16in keeper. We knew it would be a good morning. Ended up boating 16 bass and one big channel on the ole' Roboworm. I made the mistake of not re-rigging after several fish on my light spinner and 6lb test and hooked up with what may have been a big'un .....but broke my line at a fray that I never checked. Missed several, lots of bites. The fish were holding in grass in about 3-5ft of water,after the sun started baking good, the fish must have moved out because the bite went bad. My bait as always..the Roboworm, Chris did all his damage with his V&M. Very nice day of fishing, hope we have this kind of luck Saturday!
