Anyone going out this weekend?

Most people are afraid of the crowds. What are your (fishing) plans for the holiday weekend?

Got two hours in a Floyd Lamb this morning. Would've fished longer but my son was cold. It was windy! Caught 3 LMB in the bottom pond. 1 baby, 1 that was about 1lb. The last one was approaching 2lbs. All on pumpkin baby brush hog.

[cool]Heading out in two hours for an evening kick in the tubes with my wife. Hoping to get some on topwater when the sun goes down.

went out with the family to sunset for a couple hours last night got skunked i'll probably try again l8r this week.

I spent a couple hours last night (saturday) at sunset from 9 to close. I didn't even get so much as a bite. I haven't had any luck at Sunset in the 4 times I've been there this year but I'm not giving up on it yet.

Heading to the lake today. I think I will do better out there.

friday was the first time we got skunked this season at sunset, but we only got a couple hours in. good luck out at the lake. i'll probably try the lake wednesday i'm gonna try the 33hole for the first time. but for now i gotta clean my tackle box, needs major reorganising lol. hope you had a great weekend on the water. tight lines

[cool]We went south of 33 hole. Only got a few bites. I think they were dink stripers that were short striking us. I was out on friday and caught three 10" sripers. When it got dark we saw the shad dimpling on the surface. Nothing on topwater either.

No luck for me on the topwater either. I tried throwing a zara spook and a spit'n image but didn't get any action. I'm figuring I should have tried the topwater before first light.
