took a 12 year old outr for a trip this am we got to the water at 8:30 am the water temp was 84 we fished till11:45 and it was hot so we headed home i caught 1crappie that was 14.75 " long and whent allmost 2lb allso got 4 large mouth and one spot all short dakota fished hard but could not get a bit we will have to try again when he comes back from his dads he wanted to keep the crappie so we did the basswas released asap when we left the temp was 87 all fish caught in 28+ fow and caught on a bg shad in cristal with a tail light and a wmg brushhog plan on hitting the big G or the nick in the am for crappie need som crappie for a pennsylvania fish fry the week of the 4th
