Well, I haven&#39;t wet a line since Labman took me crappie fishing 10 days ago. Time flies. Russ wanted some crappie for his freezer, so we went after them from 6:30 to 10:30 am. We caught about 30 with 7 or 8 of them less than 10 in. long. Russ put all he wanted in his cooler, which amounted to 13 crappie over 11 in. We released the rest. Our biggest was 13.25 in. They were caught from steep rocky banks, bluffs and docks with at least 15 ft. of water. Some came from 30 ft. deep. All were caught on BG&#39;s with 1/16 oz. leadheads. Silver seemed to be the best color. Dead sticking and line watching was the ticket.<br /><br />JDK stopped by to chat for a while. Good to see you, Josh.<br /><br />Flow was about 13K cfs and the surface temp was 86 when we left.
