Dr Phillip and I got out for 3.5 hours this AM to fish for bass at the Riverpark. We got started about 1.5 hours too late, but I did catch a largemouth bass on my first cast of the day. We fished down there about 1.5 hours and caught the one largemouth, 1 tiny smallmouth, 1 bluegill, and 3 yellow bass. Because of the traffic up there and one guy running constantly through the fish, we decided to go to the lake and scout and fish.

On to the lake to do some scouting. Looked at a nice structure that Polo and I looked at the other day. I will probably get out tomorrow and fish this place. Then we ran up to the nuke area and did a little dropshotting for bass. Didn't catch any on the drop shot today, but did pick up some crappie on vertical structure and 2 more largemouth bass plus one final bluegill. The destroyers and water chiggers got out in force so we decided to call it a morning. We had a great time, but not too many fish. I told the Doc that days like today make you appreciate the good days. emoBig

We kept looking for schooling bass, but they didn't do much today. Only saw 2 or 3 bunches come up on the surface and they were out of range each time. All fish released today.

Oh my gosh, I almost forgot. Dr Phil caught my pet drum too. He would have made Fat Albert proud today. He caught one of each species today. Bluegill, yellow bass, drum, rockfish, skipjack, largemouth and crappie. I caught 2 largemouth, 1 smallmouth, 2 yellow bass, and 5 crappie. emoBig
