Got to the lake about 7pm.. fished till 9pm .. didnt catch much .. only really fished 2 areas .. near the nuke, was trying to find an active top water bite . but none to be had at least not for me .. I fished a early summer fav of mine .. a ditch that is near spawning grounds that feeds out to main lake .. I did catch 2 bass at the mouth where it drops into the channel on a jig.. small 2lbs each give or take and oz .. never did find the shallow bite .. I know its warm .. but last couple years Ive found fish in this spot till mid July .. oh well .. one thing that has changed since last there grass .. and more grass .. the fish that used to haunt that spot may be now focused more on grass than years past.<br /><br />My boat ran great .. and new TM 74b Thrust Maxxum I got .. well new to me .. is doing good.
