Went back to the Chick after such a good day with my guide JDK. Isn't that the way it's supposed to go? Someone shows you some fish and you go and show all your buddies!? Well we did have a pretty good day , just not as good as with JDK. We had 14 / 15 lbs. from the best five. The biggest was about 4 3/4 lbs. We did about the same stuff. Ledges, drops offs, humps, all in about 18 / 38 fow. We caught about 18 / 20 fish. No current! That hurt! Water temp is in the high 80's. Tx rigs, C rigs, swim baits, and Jerry Malone's jigs. Gotta give my buddy the him the credit on those jigs! I have watched several boats chunk'in jig'in spoons and drop shots, and they are catching fish, {dinks} but a big 'ol worm , c rig or a jig is catch'in good fish. My opinion! So there!
