I put in at Suck Creek Ramp about 5am . went down River .to a fav spot no body home there .. so went back up river almost to Moc Bend, not much current .. I aways do better on the River with about 2x the flow of today .. but today was the exception to that rule... I searched a lil while until I found a pattern .. the pattern remained the same the whole time . but as the sun got higher the fish moved deeper or into shaded areas.. I lost 2 really big bass today both at the boat .. makes NRG 
to loose big fish with out getting picture.<br />The first one was a good 6 lbs on a spook, the only top water bite had all day, the second was at least 7 lbs was about to lip it when the hook broke! .. Ive never had a worm hook break before!! It was caught on Black and red Fluke type bait.<br /><br />I managed to have a very very good day .. the best 5 that I landed would have gone 20lbs.. I caught at least 15 3-4 lb fish .. and more than 30 10-15&quot; fish lost count after that.<br /><br />All fish but one caught on a spinner bait, or a black / red fluke type bait, and all caught in less than 8 feet of water many in less than 2.<br />I only got one pic before camera battery died .. .. and I found out what its like to run out of gas lol .. I gotta get the gas gauge fixed. stupid sender is bad in the tank.<br />But was only minor inconvenience was only 200 yards from ramp , when I ran out.. man what a great day I dont get enuff of those<br /><br />
