Went to Tim's today with good ole Dad(290 sprint) to fish the Take A Kid Fishing Rodeo.Started off with a Carolina right in front of Bass Club big fat goose egg.Then ran to a point on upper end noticed water was gin-clear big suprise.0 again.Went on around the point picked up a buzzbait saw one,threw at it,it was only 'bout 10" long but brown and couldn't get the bait in its mouth.Kept going around the bank and threw beside a dock and caught a small smallie.Then we noticed a pattern developing deep shelf bank docks w/chunk rock.ran across the lake had 2 or 3 small brown fish get off and then tied on a Strike King Shadalicious 4.5'' swimbait(sexy shad) had quite a few bluegill bites emoLaugh.Then threw up toward a stump and a huge smallie came up behind the bait,it was 4.5 to 5lbs,I'm freaking out and the stupid thing comes up and just nugges the bait.We head on up the bank and I pick up a good spot it weigh 1.87lbs and my sister picks up a small bluegill and my dad did manage to catch a few.I now have a question on how to get the fish that do like that big smalli to bite.If you can aswer that I want you to come physically teach me.emoAngry emoAngry emoAngry
