Can you all help an Alaskan visitor out. Got a good lead on a hole from a church friend over near I guess "sheep bridge" by the airport in McCall. My cousins headed over there and said you could see plenty of fish (a ton they said) but they would not take the Worms or lures they were throwing. They fished from about 8am-11am with no action at all.
I will be getting my license this weekend and heading out and was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions for tackle for rivers with picky fish in this area. We used to kill them on worms and marshmellows at the now washed out Browns pond but I have never done actual river fishing here in ID.
Any advice is appreciated and if it will help I can give you some sweet Grayling Honey Holes in Fairbanks Alaska if you ever come up that way.
