Salmon Falls Creek Reservoir
#1
Fished from 7-10pm in the backwaters area
caught 2 perch, 1 bass and 1 3# walleye on a white curly tail grub trolling.

Glad I had my jaw grippers with me would have been a challenge to get it in the basket, without them. Don't know about the bigger ones definnately need to get more organized for that.

Water was 70deg 7-12'.

Well he hit this one I wish I would have put on my bigger glow curly tail.

It's getting green down there I did find that my worm harness stayed clean cause of the bottom wire bouncer I was using so maybe if I had a split shot or something on the line before the jig it might stay clean[crazy]

After fumbling for my jaw grabbers I put them on one of those straps people use for carring ID's etc. and wore it around my neck, can't fall in there and I'll know right where it is.

I also need to change how I have my fish basket hooked up. Need a little longer rope so when I am heading in it's past the toon far enough I can get a full flip with the flippers. It seems to pull easier if it's not on the side. Also I have both of the handles in the clip which made it difficult to get this bigger fish (have been dealing mainly with perch and smaller fish) in the hole.

Seems like we are always "making things better".[Wink]

Forgive a flyfisher's ignorance, I have heard the term "worm harness" several times, but I really don't know what it is, could you maybe describe it a little? (My curiosity is insatiable) And it can't possibly be what I am visualizing!

The worm harness has a little strap that goes over the shoulders, and ,,,, Just kidding. It is two hooks that are in line.
Good job on the eye!!!

another name for them even more confusing is "wedding rings"[cool]

What they are, like what Ron said is one or 2 hooks with beads and some type of spinner in front of the hooks. Beads and spinners are for attracting and hooks are for hooking[Wink], I am soooo funny[cool]
