bait and tackle suggestions?

Im going on a fishing trip on saturday the 11 in the chesapeake bay and i was wondering what bait and tackle is best for catching croaker or stiped bass...or basically anything in the chesapeake bay we are going to be near the bay bridge, also if anyone has any spots for good fishing in that area it would be great if you could give me one, pls reply with suggestions thanks in advance

Sand worms are always a good staple. Check with your bait store to see whats happening and with what bait.
