fought the wind at subblet

got out and braved the wind and did pretty good caught some nice browns cutts rainbows and some funky fish i have never seen before . between a buddy and me we landed over 30 fish [cool] this place sure comes alive in the late summer and fall [fishin]

Beautiful fish..... I used to work at Bucks Bags and did the screen printing on the mesh lap holder thing on the tubes and pontoons.

That is a great looking "funky" fish! Loved it!! Nice set up for that last picture.

Wow. I hope the wind wasn't blowing half as hard there as it was at my house. If it was, you are a brave man!

Thanks for sharing. I don't ever see much on Sublett. I have only fished there once and I didn't do very well. I have heard that it is a finicky fishery, but I think that was just to sooth my bruised ego. Now that I have seen the tarpon that are in there, I can understand my not catching much. I was fishing for the wrong species!

ha ha have to have a little comedy with fishing. well it was bad enough there was whitecaps at times i never stopped kicking the whole day. It is a really finicky place Ive only done well when the water level drops a little But it holds some great fish i see a lot of people fish from shore early in the season and do well but i never can. October is the best time to fish it in my book.
