Put in at CFP about 7:45 and headed out to see if any bass left in the lake. Counted 17 dead ones floating around the ramp and on the weed beds. <br /><br />Started on edge of a weedbed with a white spinner bait. Had 4 hits there, and landed 3. Just running it at medium speed to create a &quot;bulge&quot; on the surface. Moved from there out to main lake and checked out the flat where I have been catching a few. Didn&#39;t mark any large concentrations of fish, and didn&#39;t catch any there either. Saw Polo Dog and Frieda out there and we compared notes about the fishing.<br /><br />Moved to another area off main channel and finall found a few feeding fish on a 12&#39; flat near a 26&#39; drop. Landed 3 there on dropshot rig with a gulp minnow. Fished it by casting out and working back slowly, couldn&#39;t get a bite on vertical presentation. Moved on after catching a couple of cats.<br /><br />Bass were slow so decided to try my crappie catching skills for a bit. First dock was a 0, moved to second dock on main channel and found a few nice fish. Caught 8 keepers and couple of smalls, and a small SM Bass. All on BG Shad on about a 6 count in 11&#39; of water.<br /><br />Started getting very warm, so headed for the house. All fish returned to the lake for another day.<br /><br />Regards, Labman
