Finally got a weekend off from football but not cheerleading so me and the fry got to go for a few hours before the we had to be back for the cheerleading started. We put in CFP because and headed up river to a big pocket that had a very definate long point on it. 2nd cast, racefry catches one on a shakey head so i'm already losing (and yes it is a competition every time we go) and that was as close as I would get. He proceded to put the whoopin on me sat morning. It's kind of bitter sweet when your kids beat you and your not at the stage where your just letting them beat you anymore. Being the competitive type it was a hard pill to swallow when we had to leave and i was trailing 8 to 6 but i was extremely proud and that more than made up for the loss. All his were caught on shakey head and I missed more than i caught on a spook and a couple on a crankbait. Here is one of Tyan's better ones. Went back on sunday by myself to try to find some more but they were gone. I did take my daughter out riding for a little while sunday afternnoon and found some fish schooling and caught several on the blades.
