<br /> Well its been a very long time, but my mom decided she wanted to go fishing! <br /> She had recently gotten a new camera that takes some pretty good photos, so we decided I would do most of the fishing and she&#39;d do most of the picture taking emoBig
<br /> We put in around 3PM. Got off around 7PM. It was a great 4 hours on the water, the Fall colors are showing really well!<br /> Fishing was good, we may have only put 13 fish in the boat this afternoon but we caught some gooduns! Wind was howling all afternoon, so we stayed in the creeks and fished the banks. My mom was using the texas rig the entire time while I used a jig. <br /> Between all the picture taking she put 5 fish in the boat with some really nice ones! Her biggest is her new PB spot, it measured 20&amp;quot; and was easily 4lbs! It was a great fish and it sure did not want to come into the boat LOL. She also managed to catch a pair of fat and healthy 16 inchers. Solid 2lb &#43; fish. I put 8 fish in the boat, all off jigs. My biggest was 18.5 inches and it should&#39;ve been in the neighborhood of 3.5lbs. Another nice fat and healthy one! I also caught a 17&amp;quot; LM that was pretty skinny but it should&#39;ve gone about 2.5lbs. The rest were all 14-15 inchers. Our best 5 would&#39;ve gone 14 pounds and change. Thats the best 5 me and a partner caught in a while on Parksville, since back in the spring probably. emoToast <br /> We had a great afternoon for sure! You gotta love Parksville when its good to you LOL. The colors are getting better everyday, and we&#39;re catching some decent fish along the way. Good times!<br /> PS: Water temps were about 70F everywhere we fished. Coming down really good, fishing should only get better!
