To sum it up, we had a rough day. We started out with some mechanical issues that were compounded when I hooked a fish deep in the grass on a fluke while Jerry was working on the TM this morning. We could not get back to get the fish out of the grass and it finally came off. That seemed to set the tempo for the entire day. We fished several points, but could never get into a rythm that yielded any consistent fish. I missed a fish early, then Jerry boated our first and biggest keeper on a big worm. Jerry also caught a sizeable blue cat on the same point. We then visited an area I had found fish on Friday, but I had fished it much earlier and had found a topwater bite that did not exist today.
Later in the day I ran up to a flat covered in grass and caught 3 fish, all on a swimbait, with the last one being our final keeper. We caught fish on swimbaits and a big worm.
