Kinda cold this morning. Frost on the dock at HBSP made walking treacherous. Fished around grass early and rock points in the early afternoon. Had 6 bites total and landed all of'em. 5 of the 6 were keepers but no real size to them. Maybe 11 lbs. Took a picture of my last one. The ones caught on the rock points were on a 1/2 oz black/blue jig in 12 feet of water. The ones I caught in the grass were on a green pumpkin/purple fleck Senko. Spent some time shallow in the back of sloughs with no takers. Why would they? You could walk across the water on the baitfish. It's difficult to compete with artificial lures. Water temps were around 55 degrees early and warmed up to 57. The light and variable winds forcast blew steady at 10-15 mph.
