I was out enjoying the rain this morning and just happened to catch a few fish. The air temp was 50 degrees and the water temp stayed around 59.1. The water temp was pretty much the same from the front of the cove to the flats in the back. In about one and a half hours I caught 6 fish. Five keeper largemouth and one smallie that was 16". The fish are still taking the shaky head but they are a little shallower, generally around 6 to 10 ft. The wind picked up and the boat traffic was getting a little rough so I just decided to call it a day. I will be glad when football is over. The lake level has dropped to 811 maybe a little lower but it hasn't effected the fish yet.
