20 Nov 2010 –Tim’s Ford – I was join today by Mr. Chris Murphy of Mt Juliet TN…water temps are holding in right around 58-60 degrees, We faced blue bird skies and a slight breeze out of the north/northwest. We found a mixed bag of fish including a great smallmouth bite today. We caught 10 bass and several stripe bass today, Tim’s is producing fish in 8-15+ FOW, best bet to catch fish on Tim’s Ford is using spinner baits, flukes, crank baits, jerk baits and football head Jigs. There is some top water action mostly stripers with a few smallmouth mixed in. Tims Ford is set to explode over the next two weeks. Make your reservations for a winter smallmouth trip soon...
