I am going to fish Henry's The last day of the season and it will be my first time this year through the ice . Where is the best place to get on the lake . I would like to get as close to the water as possible as I have a lot of gear to drag out on the lake . Thanks Curt G.

Last time I was there the Hatchery was plowed, Pintail point had an open parking lot, there was an access trail cut down to the water across the County boat ramp area, and there was a couple hundred yard long trail cut across the county land to the N. of the County boat ramp if you are trying to get to Staley springs.

The county was plowing out the boat ramp as we left on Friday. Should be good there if they didn't get a bunch more snow.

Fish hatchery and Wild Rose were both accessable on Friday and Saturday. Who knows by Tuesday. It all depends on the weather.

I just got back yesterday and wild rose was real easy to get down to. We had good success on the ride side just outside of the marina in about 6-7 ft of water

Do they charge a fee to park in the lot ? I know in the summer they charge to launch your boat . Thanks Curt G.

How was the catching? Is there ice on devils creek yet maybe we could meet there soon/

They didn't charge us, but we stayed in a cabin. It didn't look like all the others parking there were paying, so I'd say no.

I saw ice on Devils Creek, but the edges looked pretty bad.

Hi Kelly , I hope we are fishing together soon .Me and Texan64 fished Henry's today I caught 6 and he caught 10 . Parked at the hatchery and walked out . I will post my entry's tomorrow . A brookie a little over 16 and a cutbow about 18 . Curt G.
