How's the Perch Fishing at Weston??

I was wondering the same thing as drove past Weston yesterday. I should have stopped and asked as there were plenty of people on the ice.

Hit Weston yesterday, it was slow. Ol ninjaset was able to pull in some big slab perch and I landed a couple nice rainbows. I'm curious how it is closer to the dam, we fished the far end and I cant believe how shallow it is.

dam end way dead we packed up at 1 and hit deep creek on the way home started getting hits right after we set up not fast but 15 min intervals till we left at 4

Was there any size to the fish you caught at Deep Creek ? I am headed down there in 10 Days . Going to try American Falls tomorrow . Curt G.

The fish I caught at Deep Creek were 14-18" and pretty thick.

Thats what happens when a thread gets hijacked. The thread was about perch in Weston. Curt 69 asked about the size of the fish in Deep Creek. I responded, but was refering to Rainbows not perch. Sorry this thread was officially hijacked. I will try not to do it again.
