The video must not show what they look like good enough. They are for sure not carp. I'm going to get some better videos one of these days. They look allot like a plecostomus, I'm guessing that is what they are.

From the LVwash website:
Survey they are referencing was performed in 2002.
It does mention plecostomus and I do know they can get rather large in size in lakes and rivers.
A total of 7 species were observed in the Wash, none of which are native to Nevada; they are the green sunfish (Lepomis cyanellus), mosquitofish (Gambusia afinnis), common carp (Cyprinus carpio), black bullhead (Ameiurus melas), red shiner (Cyprinella lutrensis), fathead minnow (Pimephales promelas) and the aquarium fish, suckermouth catfish (Family Laricariidae: Hypostomus plecostomus). Non-fish species were also found during survey efforts; they include the red swamp crayfish (Procambarus clarkii), spiny softshell turtle (Trionyx spiniferus), bullfrog (Rana catesbeiana), red eared slider (Trachemys scripta).

Looks like big Gizzard Shad.
They have been gill netted in Mead up to 16" and 2 pounds. The Gizzard Shad stay in shallow water as the Threadfin Shad prefers open water.

I went back to the wash and snuck up on them this time. I seen about 10 large ones right in the same area. Then a big turtle at the end. Lots of little fresh water tropical fish also like syncityangler said, mostly Platys. I did see some kind of cichlids too.

great video jimbo, those plecos are huuuge!! not sure what kind of impact they will have in the lake but they do love to eat algae but then again it could hurt the shad population to some extent.
