Sure would be fun to be around when they released some of those. I Imagine those are just broodstock though. My mom caugt a big rainbow that had practically no tail fin from rubbing on the concrete it's whole life. It must have been retired.

I don't think they let you fish the brood stock at The Boulder Rearing Station. That is some dirty hatchery water in the pics. Those are the fall spawning rainbow aren't they.

yeah they are!!! yeah they were in the proses of cleaning the tank when i was there!!! this isn't there rearing pond ether it was a blast to go look at the little boys had a blast!! they give you food to feed them there just the broad stock!!! these were the biggest were they avg about 6lbs and up!! the game wardens there are really nice as well!!

I don't know why, but I always enjoy stopping and looking at the big hatchery pets too. Those are some pretty good fish. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

oh yes I fished the new fork, the green, the east fork, fontanelle, middle piney crk, little piney lake, south piney crk, Hams fork and the wind river's I had a ok time fishing thats about the only thing i enjoyed about my time in Wyoming could care less for the place otherwise..
