ice at deep creek

i was wondering of anyone knew how the ice was at deep creek if anyone could let me know that would be great thanks

Stopped by Deep Creek today to take a look, looks like the lake is pretty well capped but could not see any tracks on it yet, ice looks pretty thin to me, maybe 2" tops. I didnt drill a hole to measure cause it just don't like thin ice. I did try Weston for about 30 min by the dam with no luck, there has been a few people on it, the ice was about 3" there but I only went out about 30 ft.

I did. Thin ice. Do not drill a 10 in. hole. Your stuff might get sucked in. [angelic]
