Stopped by Rire on way home from Big Elk today. Two guys out on the ice fishing. 3-4 inches of ice, but it still look scary. Clear and white ice mix. Slushy around shore line. Still going to brave it Monday.D

It will get better fast now if we can avoid the warmer weather coming in the middle of the week. Stay away from the island and fish towards the dam for thicker ice. Take a spud bar with you to pick your way out!
