Fresh reports for Preston Area?

Hey got a day off tomorrow (Friday) and would like to try a little ice fish'en. Has anyone been out around Preston lately and if so how was the fishing and ice conditions? Thanks J

Thanks for the tips I will probably start elsewhere but if I'm striking out again I will probably try your tip. I kind of wanted a couple trout to smoke up so I'll start where I might find a bow and then try other spots to avoid another shut out. Thanks a bunch J

Glendale is a good spot. lots of small planters and a few nice perch. plenty of ice. I would take a plank anywere you go. the water has been rising with the warm daytime temps and the edges are soft.

Thanks for the info. I ended up on Hyrum so my nephew could come. Not a bad decision it's hot fish'en this morning wish I would have let the first two little ones go now I'm letting bigger fish go. Guess I broke my skunk finally. Thanks for the info. J
