Hey everyone,
I have some good pictures of last week's trip to Hyrum. I will try to post them tonight.
Anyway, my brother wants to go fishing to Wellsville pond tomorrow but I don't have a clue how to find the place. Do any of you know how to get there? Also, is Wellsville much better than Hyrum? I had a blast at Hyrum and I am not willing to go to Wellsville unless it compares to Hyrum. Thanks everyone.

BBG,usually this time of year Wellsville is covered with a lot of moss,and its not that big,you can cast all the way across it in most spots,I believe if you go 3 or 4 blocks south of the church in the middle of town and then a couple blocks east,that should get you pretty close,I havent been there for a lot of years!!M.H.

From Logan drive south towards Sardine Canyon. There is a turnoff to wellsville right before you hit the Canyon. There is a car pool parking lot right there. Turn north heading towards Wellsville. When you get into town I believe that it is the second road on the right hand side. It ends in cul-de-sac. If you find the cul-de-sac then you're there. I fished there last year and caught only small planter rainbows. I fished with a fly and bobber to try and keep it up out of the moss.

You can get there from the other direction as well. Turn at the stop light on 89-91 at the gas sttion. Take that road down through the river bottom and as you come up the hill into town take your first left (south). Follow that road until it dead ends. Turn east (left) and than take your very next right (south). Follow this road around to the dam. Parking lot on your right.
