#1
Taking a toddler fishing, I've got a few good bluegill spots but we're thinking of trying something new. Thanks for your help guys!

The only place I know of in the Magic Valley that contains crappie is Salmon Falls Creek Res. but they are very few and far between, especially this time of year.

Salmon falls is the only place. I would like to remind everyone in the Magic Valley that if you would like to see more opportunity for Crappie, and Catfish PLEASE call the Magic Valley Region F&G. Talk to Scott or Doug and let them know how you feel. Sometimes I think I am the only guy that they get a phone call from that want more warm water fish. Ron

I think the closest place to the Magic Valley with a good population of crappie that might be appropriate for a toddler is Crane Falls Lake adjacent to C J Strike. It has crappie, perch, bluegill, bass and rainbow and I think there are a couple of docks your little one could fish off of. About 90 miles from Twin.
