Ok so I have never fished a crankbait and I'd figure I'd try it. I'm talking about like a KVD 1.5, where to throw it? We mostly have sunk trees and grass patches. Also how to reel it in? I'll be putting another post if you can answer that too please. Thanks guys!

A simple cast and retrieve works pretty good, I like the kvd's they bounce off sticks and stumps without getting snagged easily. Id start slow with just a wobble around stumps or over the grass and you'll learn what you can get away with. Speed up the retrieve if they are not hitting or try a pause on the retrieve. I get a lot of hits after it bounces off a rock or stick.
We have scrub oak here in Utah with open pockets between the sticks and ill cast over them and bring it through the open spot between the branches sometimes Irs not a very big gap but those bass tear those things up!
I like bouncing them off shallow rocky points also.
