Hello folks,

I am the new moderator and all I ask is for you all to go easy on me. I am a transplanted Californian who enjoys the relaxed life I found here in Missouri.

I have adapted to fishing around here pretty well, although I still have not had a chance to catch a spoonbill. I am a multi species fisherman and enjoy pounding the banks as well as fishing from my boat. I have learned a good deal, but still find out something new on every trip.

I encourage everyone to post a report, ask a question, or tell a good fishing story while they are here. If you have a question feel free to ask and if I don't have an answer I will sure try to find one for you.

I hope to see this board grow and look forward to hearing from you all.

Take care,
Thomas

Welcome,
I'm a long-time Ozarks fisherman.
We hit Branson and Lebanon areas for trout, and fish Bull Shoals several times a year.
Last year was my first time to MArk Twain Lake. I'll be anxious to hear any personal reports from that area.
Good luck, and stop by the flyfishing board..
Rob

[laugh]

How ya doin'? I have been out of the loop for awhile getting my computer back up and dealing with a few other odds and ends. I am still at Bass Pro and now do the buying thing. I was at the showroom for the Fishing Fair and knew the guys fishing the tournament were suffering. I know at least a few guys had to leave their boats in the water overnight and haul them out Sunday.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. If you still have the fish finder that was damaged I would contact the manufacture to see if it could be repaired to save some money. I have not dealt with this business before and can not comment on their service. I hope you were able to find a dealer that was able to give you the service that you need.
