well my buddy Branden and I went out Friday morning and than some of the night on Fri., and we took about 68-15 + pound carp out of the snake, a buddy I know Jake and his 2 friends took alot more than us out, it was for the howards tackle shop fund raiser for kid, anyway him and his friends swept the event all 3 categories, but only got the money for 2, can't win more than 1 category, but they took probably 300 out including the big fish that was 30.5 lbs. just thought I would let ya'll know,

Even better! I gotta try that one of these days. I have an old recurve bow, would that be ok to set up? Or do you need a compound bow?

I'm no expert, but I think some folks ever prefer a recurve. I can say it's pretty easy to get setup, and fun to find em and peg em. Certain satisfaction there.
Kudo on you guys having a "cleanup". So wadda ya do with all the capture? Fertilizer?
Oughta set up a smoke-processing! : )

yea I shoot a 45# recurve, my bro shoots a older mathews solo cam bow, and friend uses the old round wheeled bows and another guy uses Oneida bow fishing bows, so its basically what you can afford,
