I have seen this happen on Anderson, a friend had a Bald Eagle steal a Koke he had on.

ive seen pelicans do it on the blackfoot res.

I came within about 1/2 a second of having a pelican steal a fish from me once. He was sure trying.

About 15 years ago I was flyfishing downstream from Mack's Inn in Island Park, when a bat took my fly off the water. The crazy part of the story was he hooked himself on the foot with my fly. I reeled in the bat and went to camp. With some gloves and a couple other guys help, we released the bat to catch another day. Sad part of the story was that was the only thing I caught the entire day.
