Launched @ Shelter Isl. in search of YT in mexican waters. Arrived at high spot 371 to find WO skipjack tuna. Trolled and found lots of good size paddy, all dry. Wasn't like that last week, where each paddy was loaded with YT. Oh well, guess it had to end some time. Talk on the radio was finding the right paddy and even then, bite was skittish. Wouldn't suggest the long drive there unless you like WO skippie. Which is cool, cause we have lots of recipes for them!! [Smile]

Time to fish local, im gonna try for some reds this week @ the shoe.

Peace.

Hey there EatB4URelease,

Paddies and yellows are a touch and go proposition anyway.
Lings are still bitin' on the 'shoe' and around the corner from Rocky Point. And where there's reds there's got to be lings lurking nearby. If you've got good sized sardines there's no reason to not to expect them too.

Nice report. Sometimes knowing where they are not biting is as important as knowing where they are!!!

Thanks,

JapanRon
