My Friend Joe's sturgeon vacation
#1
A buddy of mine invited his nephew to come down from Montana to fish for sturgeon. After their trip was over he gave him the Green boat. That boat was my old Sportsman's 9. Anyway he condensed the 4 day fishing trip down to 11 minutes of tail dancing and big splashes. I tried to figure out how to embed the video but didn't have any luck. Here is the Video. Ron

That is by far the best hole on the river. Are you guys coming up from the boat ramp or from Scott's? I once caught 19 in 2 hours. Looks like lots of fun in a toon, however I'd wear lifejackets, the Snake is not a nice lady.

Tight Lines.

The amount of trash that I haul out of there has multiplied ten fold in the last ten years, just a matter of time til the rednecks get it closed. I always go by jetboat, I keep thinking about below the powerplant above Pillar. How far can a toon be ported?

If you see prime time say Hi. . . . . Tight Lines

I would LOVE to get above. Portaging a toon would not be super tough but it would take two guy. The distance a toon can be carried depends on the guys carrying it. A gas motor would be a must due to the millage. That is on my bucket list. Ron

I caught another one yesterday. It was only about 4 foot long and didn't jump. I have caught 12 this year in my pontoon under 6 foot. I am ready for a fish over 6 foot. Ron
