Backpacking for Browns
#1
A couple buddies and I backpacked into a place in search of some Fall Brownies. Our efforts were rewarded. Here's some pics.

You are fantastic at pictures. Scenery is nice, but this is a fishing board and you covered that topic like a pro.
Those browns are great.
My question, the MIST picture....what happened to the 10 and 2?[cool]

Great pics. I love the airborne brown pic. Some nice browns in a beautiful location. My only question is was this in Utah?
FG- 10 and 2? so what if he was a 9:30? I haven't worried about whether I'm at 10 and 2 since the the second month after I started fly fishing. I concentrate on doing what it takes to get the fly exactly where I want- the rest is noise in my humble opinion.

Thanks. Haha. 10 and 2 gets thrown out the window when you've got this many good looking fish in front of you...haha

Those pictures are fantastic. First rate. They cover it all.

And that back cast, of course its at 9:30. That's the drift back after stopping around 10, just like its supposed to be![sly] I like Lefty Kreh's line about that "10:00-2:00 BS." "I don't care what time it is, I still gotta make a cast!"

Man those are nice fish and nice pictures.

But watch Lefty's videos call it what you want.
And it was meant in Humor boys. The OP got that.

I get the humor. We all know 10 and 2 is just funny stuff. Lefty can do anything with a fly rod, I've seen some of it first hand.

Yes, but I mean on the water, in the bow of a Lund, casting to Pike in shallow grass and weeds, with some wind, and things for line to get tangled around. It was quite amazing. So was he at the lodge each evening. Even if I could remember all the jokes and lines, nobody could tell 'em like he did.

And those are sure some killer photos at the top of this thread! That's as good as it gets on this board.
