You got to love those Stavation bow, I'm sure glad the DNR started stocking them there. Thanks for posting your report and great pics.

Yeah those bows sure do put up a fight, and can shoot out of the water a couple feet, even the couple little ones we caught put up a fight almost as good as the bigger ones.

Mallows and a worm, I'm sure p.b. would work too. We only tried a couple spots and they both had fish. I would say just keep moving till find them and it should be good. Where we were you could see them cruizing the shore line. They are in spawning mode so think rocky shore and not very deep.

I'm going up in the EARLY morning tomorrow and have never fished Stravation. I guess I'm going to start at the bridge and thrown everything at them during the full moon, YIKES.

When we were there I through tubes, cranks, spinners, and only caught one on the spinner, they are in spawn mode and didn't seem to want to work hard for food. All the fish were caught close to shore with worms and mallows. That might be different than last week tho but I'm sure you will find them.

We fished juniper point on the 24th did ok with kastmasters and rapalas, marshmallow and a worm worked well also. First time shore fishing at starvation it was a blast caught a little walleye at dusk on a worm with a little Harrington smelly on it. Good luck
