If you are planning on going up to silver lake make sure you have a 4wd truck with tire chains! Pulled out 3 trucks today and it's snowing extremely hard. 5-6 inches of fresh snow right now and accumulating fast! The fishing is off the hook! I caught a lot of bookie's and a few decent size bows. It's well worth the trip if you have a good 4wd to get there with!

You said in a previous post they keep the road plowed. Once this storm pass's. is that really the case? Will they keep it plowed? Sounds like it could be a good lake to take some scouts for a day.

You must of misunderstood on the location. They do not plow the road to silver lake. It's a dirt road. I assume you are thinking of boulger on the skyline. This is silver lake up American fork canyon above tibble fork.

So you headed up today huh? I went the other direction and hit Boulger. Windy day but plenty of ice and good fishing for little rainbows just like you saw last week.

Are there 2 lakes above tibble fork called silver lake? The gate is closed to get to silver lake flat, and there is only a trail to silver lake?
