Little out of focus but they look like nice lures in the brook trout pattern. Are they 4 or 5 inch swimbaits?
Never heard of using them ice fishing. Did you manage to land any fish with them?

Ya I didn't notice how terrible it would came out this time. My heater made the lense fog up but they arnt lures. Toss are just brookies and bows lol but I had a few big fish snap up to the brookies then snapped my line. Ehhh those are the best times. It sucks that I didn't catch a brookie over 13" like last time. Oh well at least my secret bait finally arrived to my house so I might catch a nice one soon. Plus it looks like the brookies are still spawning after one of them busted all her eggs on me but most of them safely made it to the bottom unless another fish ate it ha ha ha.

Not sure why folks pick on ffl... He is out doing what we all love. Unfortunately for some it's not up to their standards. Maybe if we had folks pre- read all of our "fishing reports" then, maybe just maybe we might make everyone happy. Back off and let the kid do his thing. From what I have seen he catches more fish than most of the trolls on here anyway.

I have always looked at his posts and remembered how I was at his age. Hope people remember what it was like to be young. It's really just a maturity and life experience thing, and I remind myself of that.
I like his passion. Wish I could fish as much as he does. I used to when I was his age. Live it up now while you can before all the responsibilities encroach on your free time!!!!

Especially through the ice this season. I haven't been ice fishing since 4+ years so it's a blast so far.

It was a friendly teasing. Yes I remember my son at age 5 was just as happy catching a few like that as the ones several times larger. Honestly by age 7 he'd had been very disappointed if I took him out and he caught dinks like that. But you're absolutely right if FFL enjoys catching 30 fish like nothing wrong with it and I didn't mean to imply there was.

It's one thing to just enjoy catching those little things and it's another to act like he's on to something really special and do the whole neener neener thing. It's kind of like rubbing it in everybody's face, thinking they envy catching 8" trout. Please tell me where this is, I'm dying!
