Eakle
#1
Anyone catch TubeDude on Eakle's show last night? I think Eakle really dropped the ball on letting a master Jigger explain how to do it correctly, as well as not giving enough air time to Pat's jigs. Letting that woman tell us over and over again about how cold she was was a waste of time to me. Wasted opportunity in my humble opinion.

Yeah I watched last nights episode and was disappointed he didn't give tube dude the justice he deserves with his homemade jigs and techniques. I was very excited to watch last night's episode after reading tube dudes segment on the trip. I was upset they showed Tonya more than master tube dude! I hope they show more?, of that episode in the future!

Ah - what happens in the editing booth stays on the editing booth, well, on the floor anyway.

Having taken a shore run up there that same evening, and reading up on TDs report - I was excited for the episode. Then I saw it....

Agreed - as I was watching those horse-heads spinning along - sed - looks familiar. I can't say I feel better prepared to tackle that lake for the sake of the show... but I might be doing some more local white-fish chasing. It's a nice drive, but - it's a drive. if I could KNOW of a calm day - I'd take the float along, but I'm not gonna challenge BL waves, or should I call them swells?

It was a nice episode. Think they missed out on getting in on some smoked goodies!

I have it on the DVR to watch later, however, kudos to TD's fishing abilities and his tackle making skills, he is a master in the tackle making and jig building and painting. however when it comes to catching the whiteies, BLFG is the master. His skills are second to none on that lake and anyone who has fished with Scott for those fish and any other on that lake nows Scott's the man.

[cool][#0000FF]Thanks for the nice comments but I think Adam does a good job of editing a short show to include as much basic info as possible. And I don't need no more face time. My unshaven old face didn't do much to enhance the show. As I have said before, I have a face made for radio.

I told Tonya that I enjoyed seeing her on Adam's shows...just to see someone on the camera that did not have facial hair. She is doing a great job as the outreach coordinator for DWR and helps promote Utah fishing.

Adam has been talking for a couple of years about putting together a show on float tubing. We talked at Bear Lake about maybe doing a floatilla on Starvation sometime this year.

Thats when he will get footage of the master at work, from a tube with homemade jigs.

[cool][#0000FF]Don't know about that. But I am sure that if we can get a few tubers and tooners together for that kind of show we can give him enough footage for a program.

Maybe we can even get you on the water with us. That is if we have any water next year. Lookin' better if the storms keep comin'.
