The Weeb
#1
Hit the Weeb today. The whities were active. Small flies (Zebra Midges, Rainbow Warriors, WD 40's) Anything Small.

The Bite is light, but the fish caught were all in the 13-16 inch ballpark.

Dude, you are some kinda tough. I went to schofield this morning and it was -17 degrees when I got there. It was all I could do to bait the jig and put my gloves back on and put them under my arm pits to recover. But stream fishing and fly fishing at that. Gotta be COLD.

I have hooked a couple of nice browns and a bow, but when you use small hooks it is tough to fight the fish and the current.

It has mostly been whities and it might just be the location. I hit deeper pools with swirling water. In the slack water by the Morgan High Baseball field there were some trout risers, but it's so thick will cover you can't get in there without disturbing the water and scaring everything away.

It wasn't negative 17, but it was chilly. The hardest part was keeping the eyelits clear of ice.

The coldest part is catching a fish.

Back to Back fish makes you want the second fish to just get off.
